A little about Kimi Fox
Kimi is an experienced Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist with a passion for supporting children with diverse needs. She is a registered member of both the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and the Australian Play Therapy Association (APPTA). Kimi has master's level training in Play Therapy, equipping her with advanced skills and a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques tailored to children.
With a career dedicated to improving the emotional and psychological well-being of young people, Kimi has worked with children facing a range of challenges, including trauma, behavioural issues, and developmental differences. Kimi's expertise in Play Therapy allows her to connect with children in a way that fosters healing and self-expression through creative and nonverbal methods. Her work is grounded in a strong understanding of child development and neurodiversity, and she is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment where all children feel understood, valued, and empowered. Her compassionate approach fosters trust and encourages children to build resilience, express themselves, and overcome challenges in their own way.
