Welcome to Golden Fields Play Therapy
Child-Centered Play Therapy empowers children by letting them lead their own play, fostering self-expression in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. The therapist’s role is to build trust and provide a safe space for the child to explore and communicate their emotions, enhancing their confidence and autonomy.

Hi, I'm Kimi
I'm a Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist with years of experience working with children and families in both private and public settings. My approach is playful, warm and neurodiversity affirming, ensuring each child and their family feels understood and valued. I have supported children, families and educators to address a broad range of childhood difficulties, including social-emotional challenges, behavioural issues and processing change and traumatic experiences. I specialise in supporting children aged 3-12 and their families through the transformative powers of play.
Golden Fields Play Therapy practices on Jaara country and we acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people as the Traditional Owners of this land. We pay our respects to the Dja Dja Wurrung people and to their Elders past and present. We extend our respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families we work with.
